At first, navigating a vegan lifestyle can seem daunting. But, with most things, getting started is almost always the hardest part. Once you learn that there is more to a vegan diet than just the stereotypical tofu and bland salads, it becomes second nature. Milk Street Cafe is proud to offer a huge variety of plant-based meals and we've rounded up the best of what we have so you don't have to stress about having something delicious to eat.

Sandwiches

  1. Roasted Cauliflower Wrap

Green, spinach tortilla filled to the brim with turmeric roasted chickpeas and cauliflower, tahini sauce, and purple cabbage next to a glass of iced tea and a vase of white hydrangeas.

Chickpeas and cauliflower are absolute staples in any vegan diet and this wrap is full of them. With slow roasted turmeric spiced cauliflower, chickpeas, pickled power blend slaw, tahini, and toasted pumpkin seeds this wrap is full of flavor (and protein!).

2. Roma

Artichokes, roasted red peppers, basil, baby spinach, tomatoes, olives, and chive hummus served on freshly baked ciabatta bread.

This unique sandwich is stacked with all the goods. With artichokes, roasted red peppers, basil, baby spinach, tomatoes, olives, and hummus, you can't go wrong.

Salads

  1. Veggie Cashew Crunch

This salad is a fan favorite at Milk Street. It's full of cashews, chopped romaine, shredded red cabbage, carrots, snow peas, edamame, and crispy onions, with a toasted sesame dressing. Pro Tip: Add some roasted sweet potatoes for some extra flavor.

2. Avocado Spinach

With avocado and sweet potatoes, this salad is every vegans dream. Our Avocado Spinach Salad has baby spinach and romaine with avocado, chickpeas, roasted sweet potatoes, hearts of palm and purple cabbage.

Sushi

  1. Green "Monstah"

Wooden platter with vegan Green "Monstah" roll containing asparagus and cucumber, and topped with avocado.

Sushi is one of the easiest foods to make vegan and still keep it delicious. One of our favorites is the Green "Monstah," with asparagus and cucumbers, and topped with avocado.

2. Royal Veggie

Vegan sushi roll filled with avocado, carrots, asparagus, and lettuce and covered with a purple cabbage infused white rice.

We've put our own twist on the classic veggie sushi roll. This colorful roll has purple cabbage infused rice, avocado, asparagus, lettuce, and carrots, bringing on a new meaning to the typical Rainbow Roll everyone is used to.

3. Strawberry Mango

Aside from the typical avocado and cucumber veggie rolls, we also have tons of unique vegan sushi rolls with fruit. This Strawberry Mango Roll has Japanese cucumber, sweet potato, and teriyaki sauce and is topped with mangos and sliced strawberries.

Hot Entrees

  1. Roasted Cauliflower with Green Harissa

Told you cauliflower was a staple. This roasted cauliflower steak is full of flavor and sure to appeal to plant and meat-eaters alike. Topped with spicy green harissa sauce and served over roasted asparagus and lemon spiked farro, this vegan meal is sure to be a hit.

Appetizers

  1. Hummus Platter

Tablescape with three types of hummus— buffalo, green goddess and sweet potato chipotle— surrounded by bowls of cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, baby carrots, and tortilla chips.

Not sure about you, but I can easily devour a bowl of hummus on my own. This hummus trio is no exception. Our hummus platter includes a selection of Spicy Buffalo, Green Goddess, and Sweet Potato Chipotle Hummus.

2. Tofu Spring Rolls

Rice paper spring rolls filled with tofu marinated in miring and rice wine vinegar, daikon, red bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce, served with a ginger soy dipping sauce.

Yes, tofu. But hear us out— these Spring Rolls are the perfect finger food for your next party. They are also super filling and filled with protein so we can guarantee you won't leave feeling hungry.

Dessert

  1. Brownies
